Life is f'ing sweet!

Hey folks!
Long time no talky... busy, crazy, crazy busy.... ok, perhaps lazy... truely a little of it all.
So how the heck y'all been? Livin'? Lovin? Enjoyin'? Creatin'? Bein'the diva of your own life?
I certainly have. Wok has me crazy... new house has me running... been here since September and we lost power twice....last owner says it rarely happened prior to us moving here..really?! (thanks!)*laughs* all good... we learned, we lived... we made it through! Thankful!
I promise to visit more... miss you all!

Thank You to all those who sacrificed so much to protect my freedom.

This weekend my bestie and I decided to help out and give back. We are going to assist some very good friends on their farm. They allow us to enjoy all the beauty that it has to offer - so we are giving back as a thank you. We are also heading to help cook and serve dinners in a soup kitchen. I am so blessed.

My life is pretty freaking fantastic, period.

Today I had a slight set back... kinda.

My car broke. Needs a new oil pan.

Figures, the month after I pay the darn thing off and was all excited about no payment

I get a $700 bill.

43 days before I need all "spare" cash for the closing costs on my new diva digs!

2 days before I plan to go camping in the woods and drink myself silly.

No car. YAY!

Slight set back - but I WILL SURVIVE!

It makes me sad when my friends or family are sad. They may not come right out and say they are sad... but you just know they aren't living their best life. Trust me, I am no expert about "happy" but I practice it every chance I get. I think everyone should! When sad I blast music and dance... it usually works! Sometimes folks need more then music... they need a little push.

A little prodding.

People need to let their hair down a little more and be HAPPY.

Anyway - no idea where I am going with this...

I must say I am in love with this house.

It truely is everything I need in a house.

A huge basement that can fit many people with cocktails

and look out into a beautiful garden filled yard.

(ok, we will have to plant the gardens, but it will happen)
Even a pool table for Shane to enjoy with the boys!

A sun porch to have a morning cup of coffee...
or mimosa...
or egg white omlet...
and enjoy the trees!
I have trees!

I am so nervous, yet so excited.

I will have my family and friend close.

(whether that kills me or makes me stronger - we shall see)

Ok, so I guess I am feeling a little excited!

It's a new adventure that I am ready to tackle!

Today I got to be the good guy!

Not that I am usually the bad guy,

well, in my mind anyway...

But today I got to give the

Yale Cancer Center

a check for $34,950.00

for woman's cancer prevention and research.

Not out of my pocket, although I would love to

have the cash to be able to do such things...

It was raised by the company I work for.

I did get to write the check out well, the big fake check anyways

I have a pretty freaking awesome job!

30th Year High School reunion

This is my 9th grade Class...but I will soon be seeing many of these folks again

at my 30th Year High School reunion!
