Tomorrow I start on "another" new journey for a healthier, happier life.
Sadly, I have been down this road so many times before...
The first time I lost 70 pounds...gained back 80.
Second time I lost 60 pounds...
someone showed me attention, I got lazy...
gained back 100.
blah - blah- blah, blah blah!
SO many times I forget the gorey details...
anyhoooooo....
Today I am 270 pounds and disgusted with myself!
Don't get me wrong - I love myself...just a bit disgusted... :p
Yesterday I went to sign up for a new trainer who will beat me into shape.
Sad thing is - I already know what he will tell me...
I need to control my portion size and eating habits...
I need to excercise more...
I need to drink less empty calories...
BUT
I absolutely have no (and I mean NO with a capital "N") Willpower!
...or so it seemed....
Tomorrow things are going to change.
I will ignore my demons... most of the time.
(baby steps - right? LOL)
I will live healthier.
I will be even happier - if that is possible!
I can do this!
So mote it be!

i wish you the best of the best of luck in accomplishing your goals!
You can do it, believe it, and it will happen. Keep focused! Sending all my positive vibes to you, my friend.
Thanks for your oh so lovely words on my crafts, you're a sweetie, love you too!
I love you too. And I wish you the best or health and wellness - in a truly holistic way. If you feel your demons nudging too close for comfort let me know. I have a different approach when working with our shadows and our "demons" and I'll bet you know what it might be. In any event, I'm here for ya syster. Always have been. Always will be. Blessings.
... I wish you the best *of* health and wellness ... geesh!
Wow. You're certainly getting a head start on the New Year's crowd--kind of like an early EARLY bird shopper for the new bod. I wish you tons (uh-oh, maybe bad word), make that oodles of luck on your journey. The staying happy part along the way, I think, is the real key. So you should do just fine. You certainly make lots of other people happy, so that counts, right?
By the way, Krissy's been playing her new "inspiration gift" CD in the car to and fro from school so I get to listen to it all the time. HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY!!!
You can do it! If I could get myself from 238+ down to 135 and stay here for 5 or 6 years you can do it too. Word to the wise.... the "diet" never ends, it has to become your way of life. Cheater days are ok... cheater weeks and months means failure. Wise words from Mommie Dearest. LUBBA
It's a lifestyle. Not a life-sentence. Every time I made myself give up things, I failed. When I just have a little of what I want - I do just fine.
Walking that road with you sista!
So how has the first week of your journey been going? Hopefully amazing!! The holidays (at least for me) are a bit frustrating for being really healthy because I love to bake! I've become really good at pushing my baked goods off on everyone else though! Hehe!
Sending lots of love and good vibes your way!
